Leading into the Future

Every person is a leader! Someone is looking to you to lead them into a good future. It may be a child, a coworker, a company, a community, county or country. Are you up to the task? Moses, one of the world's great leaders, was a reluctant leader. However, God used Moses to lead a people group out of bondage and into freedom - but not without challenge. Every leader faces challenges. Every leader also fails. With all of his faults and failures, Moses had the courage, conviction, and confidence that the God who called him was capable of equipping him for the tasks ahead. Dennis W. Derr is a retired elder in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has served in ministry for 48 years and lives in coastal Delaware. He enjoys preaching, writing, and performing music - especially acoustic 50's and 60's classic Rock & Roll and his own original compositions. He has written many songs and has recorded his music.
