I'm Knot Fernow. Prophet. Philosopher. Professional disaster conductor. And apparently, now, a book series.

Welcome to Volume 2 of my standalone adventures, where "standalone" means each chapter is its own contained catastrophe requiring minimal context beyond "man possessed by six argumentative demons continues to exist despite better judgment."

In this collection, you'll find me:

Teaching a cooking class how to make Demonic Collaboration Stew (it tastes different to everyone and that's either the point or a health code violation)... discovering an Echo Chamber that answers questions you haven't asked yet with information you didn't want to know... turning an entire town into fish because one of my demons has strong opinions about the tyranny of vertical existence... helping an elderly man named Walter experience his last three days through six different demonic perspectives (surprisingly touching, considering the source material is literally demons)... arguing with a fountain about the philosophical nature of containment while children question my life choices... and conducting experiments in productive uncertainty with a scientist who understands that my particular brand of doubt is less "anxiety disorder" and more "navigational tool."

Each adventure is what happens when you mix cosmic significance with mundane problems, blend prophetic insight with spectacular incompetence, and stir it all with six demons who can't agree on anything except that I'm the worst vessel they could have chosen and they're stuck with me anyway.

My demons are:

• Rhymes (speaks only in verse, absolutely exhausting)
• Smell (experiences reality through aroma, surprisingly philosophical about it)
• Knot-in-Your-Neck (therapeutic torture specialist, constantly trying to fix everyone's posture)
• Knot Tired (dreams of a world where everyone's a fish and nobody has to walk)
• Knot Knowing (calculates probabilities, usually of my imminent death)
• Knot Mine (claims ownership of everything, sees futures through my wandering eye)

Together, we're seven broken things pretending to be one functional prophet. We fail magnificently at it. But sometimes-and this is the weird part-our dysfunction becomes exactly what the universe needed.

I'm very used to things going wrong. Volume 2 proves I'm getting better at it.

Or worse at it in ways that look better.

The distinction is uncertain, which means it's probably correct.

Read these adventures in any order. They don't build on each other so much as exist in parallel, like my demons' opinions or the multiple futures Knot Mine insists on previewing without my permission. Each one is complete, self-contained, and will make you question whether profound philosophy and terrible puns can coexist in the same sentence.

(They can. I just did it.)

Fair warning: This book contains acoustic nightmares, flying fish who spell out spoilers, inappropriate claims of ownership, and at least one instance of municipal infrastructure gaining opinions about theology. Also wordplay. So much wordplay. My demons insist the puns are load-bearing elements of reality itself.

They're probably wrong.

But they're definitely not uncertain.

And in a world where seven consciousnesses share one body, that's about as close to truth as we're getting.
