In this unique and inquiring look at life and death, young lad Jimmy struggles to cope with a troubled home life and alcoholic parents. Trying his best to take care of the family, Jimmy cooks dinner for his mother and father one night but accidentally starts a fire. All three die in the tragic inferno. In the afterlife, Jimmy finds himself in a safe, warm place but is suddenly whisked away to a dank, grimy land where the sun never shines. There, he meets two young women.
