When chemotherapy left artist Jill Covell searching for a way to process what was happening to her, she turned to the practice she knew best: painting. A rain of white blood cells. A fierce, fire-breathing dragon. A quiet butterfly. Each image became something too big for words: fear, endurance, and eventually, a fragile kind of hope.
Jill's Journey follows that arc in two parts. The first is the fight: anxiety, treatment, and the fierce internal work of staying whole. The second is what comes after, not a return to normal, but the slower, stranger work of reinvention, told through animals that showed up along the way.
