Ingeniosity Education: The Sun and Moon, is designed for students, teachers, homeschool parents, and parents in several ways. Ingeniosity Education: The Sun and Moon presents information about the formation of the Sun and Moon, lunar and solar eclipses, and the effects the Sun and Moon have on the Earth and life on the Earth. It also includes hands-on activities that include building a solar viewer and replicating the phases of the lunar cycle. The hands-on activities are designed to be created with minimal purchases by using items which are found in many classrooms and homes.All of the Ingeniosity Education books are designed to offer information on their title topics and hands-on activities to allow learners to more effectively understand concepts taught about the title topics.Each issue also includes logic/thinking puzzles, crossword puzzles focused on the title topic, sudoku puzzles, and a Math Mayhem section that involves math knowledge as well as background information that may need to be researched, depending on the background knowledge possessed by the learner. All chosen activities help develop a variety of thinking and learning skills and have been tested with learners in a variety of settings including classrooms, informal groups, and with individual learners.Overall, Ingeniosity Education activity books are designed to teach topics/concepts in a kid-friendly manner with hands-on activities and develop critical thinking skills.
