This book is a product of more than 20+ years of personal research and experience. Change work and personal development are inevitable part of our lives. The important question though is, do you control change, or do you let change happen to you? The aim of this book is to provide a systematic and complete research-based framework, to let anyone take the lead of their own life on a whole new level, through revealing hidden or unused resources already available to us. Hence the title: The Awakening. The framework is universal and independently of what you want or need to improve in your life, as it is today, it is the author`s belief that it will provide value in helping you achieve that, faster and with lasting results.

The framework will help you understand where you are today, what is important to you, and to evaluate if you live accordingly. It will help you identify and remove things that may hold you back and clarify where you want and/or need to go. It will help you set direction of how to get there, how to accelerate and strengthen momentum and how to counter set-backs and the unexpected. And it will help you cultivate it in a sustainable way.

The book has been designed as a work manual and encourages interactive play from the reader from start to end. Though it has sound scientific back-up, it is not intended to be an academic review. It has been designed to be available to anyone, irrespectively of background or academic level. It is the author`s wish that it becomes a personal, explorative journey that takes the reader to new learnings about themselves, supporting meaningful and worthwhile lives, true to their own values.

Jørgen Øvrebø M.Sc. Is the founder of IFLY and this is his first published book. The author holds a Master degree in Change Management and a second Master degree in Risk Analysis and Governance, from the University of Stavanger. Further to that, the author holds multiple coaching certifications such as NLP Master Practitioner and other relevant studies. He currently resides in the city of Stavanger. His background includes over nine years of working in a psychiatric clinic. The past 10+ years as a health and safety professional in the energy industry, currently working as HSE Manager for a Major Oil Service Company.
