I AM HINDU

Five realizations of Hindus

1. Hindus accept that the time is endless. The cycles of creation and destruction as just occurrences in the time. There is continuity.

2. Hindus accept that the Universe has oneness. Two opposite perceptions can finally be brought to the same conclusion.

3. Hindus accept that there is a pattern in nature. Whatever one does, is impacted by the place and time of the action.

4. Hindus believe that the oneness with Ishvara can be felt more through experience. Dharma is both personal and public.

5. Hindus believe that Life is a celebration, and it is not a sin to live.

Thousands of years ago, our forefathers dared to declare that I am Divine. Rishis declared that solution to our problems lies within, not outside. Our forefathers embraced the Universe. A person cannot see him or her in isolation.

Hindu Dharma was never pessimist. Bhagavad Gita gives a message that the war is necessary to protect the Dharma. Yes, we were attacked and resurrected. The rejuvenation of the temple at Somnath explains why the Hindu Beliefs survived for thousands of years. 

If physical strength had been the only saviour, then Hindus may have been annihilated. Hindu belief systems survived because Hindus focused on collective memory to protect their belief systems. How did Hindus manage to pass on the same beliefs to so many people over a large geography?
