Enter the idea for Holly Dates, a companion-for-hire service that will supplement her rideshare income so she can move out of her parents' house someday.
It's a simple process: screen the client, go on the date, and fly under the radar of the IRS. But things get decidedly less simple when Nick Goodman hires Holly to play his made-up girlfriend, and one night turns into a weeks-long charade. They play the part of couple-in-love convincingly-to his family, to her family, and, maybe less ideally, to each other.
Even if Holly and Nick want to pursue something real, Holly's very own personal Grinch threatens to steal her Christmas joy. Will she ever get the gift of love? Or will she end up spending the holidays home, alone?
