Here Is Your Savior!

Did you know that the Beatitudes are not separate blessings for different people or different types of people? When Jesus gave the Beatitudes on the Sermon on the Mount, He was telling us what we need to be like as citizens of the kingdom of God. Did you ever wonder why it isn't enough to pray about something once? We pray over and over again, not because we are trying to convince or remind God, but because it reminds us that He is in charge. Prayer isn't a method of bending God's will to ours. It is a method of conforming our will to His. These are just a couple of subjects we address in Here is Your Savior!

Over 146 days, this book will take you through the Gospel of Matthew, examining what it teaches about Jesus and what it tells us about our lives. Each day includes a short passage from Matthew to read in your Bible and a one-page commentary about that passage. It also includes questions on which you can pray and meditate while you let the Lord tell you how He wants you to apply His Word in your life. This book is intended to be a daily devotional, but it can also be used as a commentary on Matthew.
