Healing the Leonid Doctor's Heart

Fall in love with the alien from the galaxy next door...

Marcus, the middle-aged medical officer on the Comet Stalker, threw himself into his work after his young wife died during Queen Fever. Quarantined on a long-haul freighter with little to do, he devoted himself to research that could one day help rebuild the decimated population of the Felix Orbus Galaxy- and it paid off. His discoveries are paving the way for his species to recover and for families to be rebuilt. Professionally acclaimed and surrounded by a new adopted "family" of his crewmates, Marcus knows he should be feeling triumphant. It's not often a doctor gets to see his work change the world in his lifetime.

So why does he still feel so... empty? Could be that he's coming to grips with the fact that he'll never have the chance he's giving so many others?

Abigail didn't expect to end up in the Felix Orbus Galaxy, but the rescued human female is in no hurry to return to an empty life and a boring job on Sapien-Three. At forty-five, she knows she's too old to be some Leonid's surrogate, too ordinary to deserve a fairy tale romance with a handsome prince, and too unlucky to get a second chance.

Except... Marcus makes her want to stay in the Felix Orbus Galaxy, not for herself, but for him. He saved her life. Is there a way she could heal his heart?
