Finding a healthy balance between body, soul and spirit is not something most Western cultures usually focus on. Many people tend to run their lives with intellect and strict control using very little intuition but others simply allow their emotions and feelings to make their decisions without any careful consideration. Both extremes are unhealthy. Our competitive and fast paced lifestyles have slowly whittled away at many of the core values that bound families and villages together for thousands of years until the typical modern lifestyle is dominated by crippling stress and filled with meaningless distractions.
HARMONY takes a very intimate look at what a carefully balanced life might look like. Through the comfortable lens of a developing parable, we follow the ongoing lives of two young people who are fraternal twins. Their contrasting struggles reveal some illuminating perspectives on many of the common pitfalls and distractions we normally face in our modern lives and what we can do to recognize and then overcome those problems. Leaning heavily on the ageless wisdom of the Bible, we will examine how easy it can be to become ensnared by fears and false beliefs, but also how simple and effective it can be to slowly shed those fears and begin living the balanced life we were created for.
