[God and Man in the Old Testament. The Relation of the Image of God and of Man] lt becomes evident how close the image of man and of God is interrelated in the Old Testament, when you look at the phenomenon of anthropomorphism in its literatures. The present volume examines the relationship of anthropology and theology, of the images of God and the images of man. The following questions are touched: What are the consequences of monolatry and monotheism for identity and self-reflectivity of man? Are monotheism and individualism linked to each other? Which human images are transferred to God and which are not?
