GOD

What if the most important question about Jesus is also the simplest?

Millions of Christians worship Jesus as God. For centuries, churches have taught that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons who share one divine being.

But Mark Awad kept returning to a question he could not ignore:

What did Jesus himself actually say?

Jesus prayed to God.
Jesus said he was sent by God.
Jesus said his teaching came from God.
Jesus submitted his will to God.
Jesus called the Father "the only true God."
And even after the resurrection, Jesus said:

"my God, and your God."

Yet the New Testament also contains passages Christians have long understood as evidence of Jesus' divinity: "I and my Father are one," "Before Abraham was, I am," "the Word was God," and Thomas's declaration, "My Lord and my God."

Rather than ignore either side, GOD: JESUS IS NOT HIM examines them together.

Drawing from the words attributed to Jesus, biblical context, Christian interpretations, textual history, and the development of Trinitarian doctrine, Mark Awad asks readers to temporarily set aside what they have inherited and examine the evidence for themselves.

This is not a book asking you to blindly accept another person's conclusion.

It is asking you to open the Bible, read Jesus' words, and confront one question:

If Jesus is God, who is Jesus' God?
