When Henry Halder experiences a momentary plunge into a memory so real that he impulsively alters the event, he begins a captivating but dangerous journey of hope, trauma, and the fluidity of reality. Because 30 years ago on the night of an intense ice storm, Henry's life changed forever when he lost both legs under the wheels of a train. And now he begins to realize that an impossible chance exists to change the outcome of that horrific night. However, Henry's memories cannot be trusted. They split: two vivid and contradictory outcomes of the same event. A lost toy is both lost and found. A diorama is both ruined and preserved.
