Fast-forward to the early 2000s: Hadley is an 18-year-old struggling to survive economically after her mother's death. Desperate to pay her rent, she turns to the streets, exploring adult entertainment work, where she encounters a mysterious billionaire. Unbeknownst to her, she is deeply connected to the ancient Kinnari and their brewing war-a conflict she unknowingly sets into motion by her very existence.
