Ghost Fox

During his first winter, Yuka died . Unable to accept his fate, he makes a deal with Nanoqu, the spirit guide sent to get him. If the Great Spirit could give him one year to experience the life he was denied, he would take Nanoqu's place at the end, giving the exhausted spirit wolf his rest. Little did Yuka know he was fulfilling a destiny that would change the world.

Yuka now has one year to learn what he needs to be a spirit guide, something that usually takes a lifetime. He must go on an epic journey to understand the purpose of life and how each creature has their own part to play. To do this, he needs to talk to as many creatures as he can, predator and prey alike, all while trying to stay alive in a world not designed for him.

But the biggest challenge Yuka faces is himself. His anger and frustration at the unfairness of his death causes him to make decisions with far reaching consequences that don't just affect him. His journey takes him far from him home where he makes friends in unexpected places, sees unimaginable loss, and creates unbreakable bonds.
