Generations

Follow the struggles and triumphs of one American family from the struggles to return to normalcy following the Civil War, to the calm before the storm just before the dawning of World War II.

Generations is one part adventure story, one part family drama, and one part coming-of-age narrative amidst the backdrop of some of the most formative years in America's recent history.


About the author: The son of a career Justice Department employee, Stephan's family went where the government ordered, initially from Washington, DC to New York City (where he was born), to Atlanta, Ga. where he was raised and eventually settled down permanently.

Always interested in our country's history, his favorite reading genre gravitates towards historical adventure novels, probably because of his own family's history over the generations.

"Generations" is his first published novel loosely based on his family's history from the end of the Civil War to 1940 when his parents first met and his father began his career with the Justice Department as a member of the uniformed Secret Service.
