Ian Gordon Young, Iggy to his friends; he's a dreamer, and a drifter; self-centred and unlovable. At the heart of Iggy's problem lies a secret obsession. A maths graduate specialising in statistics, Iggy is consumed with developing his project: a system to beat the odds on the roulette table. At first it looks like the system works... maybe this is this the goose that lays the golden eggs.
When millions in laundered cash ends up in Iggy's bank account he's not sure how it got there. Can the system really be working that well? He isn't sure. All he knows is someone wants to kill him for it. On the run across Europe, an added complication enters his life: American hitchhiker Carol; a girl with romance on her mind. She has her own plans for Iggy. Trouble is, when it comes to Cupid's dance - Iggy has two left feet ...
... and then there's the lucky blue plastic gnome...
A hilarious Romcom with very dark edges.
