From..., To...,

Ascension or awakening to our higher consciousness and higher self is not an easy road to navigate.
By running through life's traumas; facing them, realizing their causes and effects, and who was at fault, we get to start living a life being who we were always meant to be.
My journey is unique to me but some of my steps and discoveries may not be.
When the dark void of depression led me to therapy, my world changed. Therapy opened my eyes to my trauma which was my root cause of...everything.
It opened my eyes to how every thing that has happened in my life has left a pattern or pathway to now. I can see that it is all connected, that we, as humans, are able to rise above our current existence and use everything we have learned (every skill, every talent, every lesson) to reach our greater self. We can and should rewire our brain and become who we are meant to be. It may come easier for some than others. But it is attainable by all.
What if some didn't have the level of trauma and trials that were part of my life? What if they had more?
Maybe they have been able to deal with them in a healthy way and aren't required to take such big steps? Maybe they are tired of the steps and are ready to leap?
Comparing my path to another is like comparing snowflakes, I know. They aren't meant to be the same. We are all meant to be unique individuals with our own path to walk.
My hope is that my journey can help another make discoveries faster than I did. Even if they aren't looking to ascend but just looking for answers, this may be a step in the right direction.
