Avery Jude "AJ" Davenport has fought her whole life for the home she has found at West Haven. Suddenly her life gets thrown out of its perfectly curated schedule when she finds herself as the new head striking trainer at the gym. No one has been able to shake her ability to keep everyone at a distance, until Rory walks in and introduces himself as the new fighter she is training.
