In the isolated, crumbling stronghold of Krevlin, Llyr is a mere servant dedicated to stopping his home from collapsing into the sea. There's nothing special about him. Or so he thought.

Rhaine was once the elven lord of Creven Tor, a mighty fortress on the edge of the sea. Then the humans invaded, and Rhaine was forced to abandon his home in order to save his people. Now he's back, seeking out the last remnant of magic that holds the decaying fortress together. Instead, Rhaine finds Llyr, a stubborn, defiant servant with more than just human blood in his veins.
