Raegan O'Rourke is a former investigative reporter with a secret: the women in her family can touch things and see events that have happened in the past - and sometimes the future. Raegan has just used her ability to help River Junction Police Officer Jesse Hendricks solve the eleven-year-old cold case of a missing local mother and her newborn baby daughter when she arrives home to discover that, after thirty years in hiding, her mother Danielle is home and the family is finally complete again. 

But they can't go on with their lives just yet. The nefarious Faust men are on a mission to find late River Junction resident Jack Hughes' legendary stash of gold - and they believe that Danielle's unique psychic abilities will help them find it. They will stop at nothing to have her.

Along with Jesse Hendricks, Raegan and her family formulate a brilliant but dangerous plan to track down Jack Hughes' gold before the Fausts do - and find the evidence they need to finally take the Fausts down after decades of terrorizing not only their family, but also the residents of River Junction. Can they set the beleaguered city - and themselves - free? Or will they find themselves at the mercy of the evil Faust family forever?
