In his 16th published work, a work that will no doubt be a companion piece to Are We Still Making Disciples?, Pastor Kelly R. Jackson looks to bring the focus of the church back to its foundation, which is Jesus Christ. While Christianity has been co-opted in so many ways, if a true presentation of Christ and His teachings aren't still the center of attention, can it still be called Christianity?

In recent years, the church has become even more politicized and monetized, and this latest shift has not only further harmed the church's reputation, but it has taken even more of our focus away from what the church was meant to be. Everything from the personalities of preachers, the weaponization of the faith by politicians and the media, and the "business" of church seems to be more of a focus than making disciples. More and more attention is being focused on man as we've drifted away from the truth of how Jesus is portrayed in Scripture.

With Follow Me, Pastor Jackson seeks to bring the focus back to the Scriptures and back to the Head of The Church, which is Jesus Christ. The church is facing a new landscape and new challenges in an ever-changing world. This calls for adjustments in ministry, but we must resist anything that draws us away from the foundation of the faith. This book makes the case that no matter what the future holds, the church must hold fast to the principles of our faith. Following Jesus isn't optional, it's a must.
