Fireside: The Wes Lyons Story is the second book in the Fireside series. The story is set in Atlanta, Georgia, in an assisted living enter where wonderful, unique characters bring life to this makeshift home. Cops eat with hookers, and janitors eat with C.E.O.s, while they are led by their beloved, red-headed rebellious nurse who covers her tattoos with a lab jacket by day and shoots tequila on the dance floor by night.
Each book focuses on a new resident, just arriving to Fireside. This sophomore offering focuses on Wes Lyons a young hippie from the 70's who inherited his father's church. Wes grew the church and quickly became an international evangelical celebrity. After the untimely death of his son, Wes lost everything and found himself alone and living at Fireside. The book has chapters that reflect his life as a young hippie and preaching phenomenon. Will Wes find his way back to success and affluence?
