Feverfew (Leucanthemum parthenium L.) is an aromatic, ornamental, and medicinal plant. It is primarily used to prevent and reduce the frequency of migraine attacks and for its anti-inflammatory properties. In our study, we focused on its floral biology, propagation methods, and essential oils. The reproductive system of this species is organized into corymbs of flower heads. Each flower head contains two types of flowers: central hermaphroditic flowers and peripheral female flowers. In studying its propagation methods, we found that germination is easy and that the various vegetative propagation techniques tested were successful. It therefore reproduces through both sexual reproduction and vegetative propagation. Analysis of the essential oils of feverfew cultivated in Tunisia revealed the presence of camphor and chrysanthenone in its leaves regardless of the extraction method.
