Roper Fobbs is the tall, dark, and mysterious member of the Powder River Pack. Little is known about his past, at least, through the eyes of the newest members of the pack.
He is a man of few words who will always be there if anyone needs him. But his past is not behind him. It lingers with each full moon and plagues him to the point he has sworn off ever accepting his fated mate if she were to ever appear.
And then his pack sends him to Las Vegas. A vacation, a getaway, one he very much does not wish to be on when he'd be happier on a boat somewhere fishing.
And then he's struck with the scent of peaches.
Bralynn Rhodes hasn't had an easy life, working for a seedy strip club is just the final topping of a cake her brother would rather toss out the window of their apartment.
Her own past doesn't hold her back though. Instead, she does everything to prove she's beyond that which includes not expecting a dark cowboy appearing to her rescue.
Roper and Bralynn are forced together in order to escape a greater threat she's not even aware of.
