Summer in Wildwood is hot, crowded, chaotic, and ruled by procedures no one fully understands.

Unfortunately, so is Fed Patrol.

Reassigned to the Jersey Shore during peak season, the least-qualified federal unit ever assembled is sent to provide "visibility," "coordination," and other official-sounding services that become increasingly meaningless once the boardwalk fills, the sand burns, and the whistles never stop.

As crowds grow and tempers rise, Fed Patrol does what it does best: fumble forward with total confidence. Flying umbrellas, beach confusion, boardwalk congestion, failed initiatives, and meetings that collapse under their own weight all become part of the mission, even if no one can clearly explain what the mission is.

When a chaotic detour into Atlantic City somehow earns leadership attention, the team finds itself noticed for all the wrong reasons. Meanwhile, Wildwood begins to learn an uncomfortable truth: federal presence does not always mean federal competence.
