Feared & Forgotten

Lunette has lived in the shadows her whole life. Running along the line between living and surviving, she found contentment in the half-life she built and maintained. But when her only friend and ally, Aska, vanishes in the middle of the night, her life takes a drastic turn into the lethal unknown.

In the heart of modern-day Quebec City, Lunette is plunged into the dangerous world of the machigai resistance, and suddenly, her life is transformed from barely surviving to fighting to thrive. With the support of her new family, Lunette discovers a fiery passion for the cause they fight for and begins working to liberate imprisoned machigai children and defy the oppressive regime that corrupts their fair city. 

When Lunette embarks on a mission to infiltrate the infamous Toyls Academy, a place swarming with people training to eliminate her kind from the city, she is forced to question whether the differences between machigai and humans are really as polarized as she believed. Can she really befriend those destined to kill her? And if she did, how would she find the strength to betray them for the betterment of a species deemed both feared and forgotten?
