Fate Challenged

Isabelle Mirran has accepted Crown Prince Andrew's marriage proposal. Then the kingdom of Dregaitia invades, putting her family in danger. Isabelle and Andrew put their wedding aside to protect Aberron. Also desiring to help Aberron is banished Prince Braidus. Isabelle is skeptical, but after a meeting with the Gods, Braidus is deemed worthy to regain his position as a prince of Aberron.

While Isabelle struggles to find her footing as the only female among the soldiers, the Gods bless her with additional colors of magic. With her new powers and combat skills, she becomes Aberron's greatest asset and is placed at the heart of the war effort alongside the royal family. The Dregans they fight against are giant and ruthless, but unlike Aberronians, they have little magic. When they encounter Isabelle's mage abilities, they seek to steal her magic for themselves. 

     Meanwhile, Isabelle learns that Braidus also wishes for her hand in marriage, and he's determined to make her notice him. Her heart becomes a battlefield with warring affections. All Isabelle seeks is harmony for her country and her heart, but the road to peace is about to get bloody.
