Steven Savitch is a nice guy. He's a man who has made it his mission to help others on the journey to a healthier self. Unfortunately, he is also a man on the verge of losing his entire world.

What is his world? Excalibur.

Excalibur is a holistic weight loss and wellness center-a beautiful place overlooking the Pacific Ocean- that he conceived of and built himself, with some help from his friends. There are, however, greedy forces in the world that threaten his dream, his livelihood, his everything. And now Steve has no choice but to come up with a plan, a strategy, -a Campaign! - that will save the day. And their jobs!

Fate steps in and offers him a once in a lifetime encounter with Marcus Breckenridge, a living legend, a real-life GOAT! , and during this not so happy meeting Steve comes up with... Fat Camp.

What is Fat Camp (terrible name, we know), you ask? It is a six-week BOOT CAMP (not really) designed to whittle the waists (maybe) of eight lucky participants (that might be a stretch, both the "lucky" and the "participants" parts). Can these strangers (except the twins, they know each other rather well) come together to achieve their goals? And if they make it through, all the way through, will they come out on the other side having gained far more than they lost? Dear reader, there is only one way to find out!

Oh! One more thing. He needs his parents (his father might be nuts) on board to pull this off, and that just opens a whole other can of worms, doesn't it. But fences must be mended.

Fat Camp is a story written to both warm your heart and tickle your funny bone. In these pages you will find a cast of unforgettable characters (one or two you will want to forget, but you won't. Not ever) who you will want to share with your nearest and dearests.
