Meaghan had three rules, and she broke all of them.

Travel alone.

Don't stay anywhere long.

Trust no one.

She fell for Jesse Baker, only to lose him after arriving at the safety of the Safe Zone.

After learning about an explosion in the very laboratory that Jesse was in, she no longer has any means of knowing if he is okay. Despite months of no contact from him, she still holds out hope she will find him. 

Trekking her way through the frozen wasteland of Ontario, Canada during the apocalypse is not exactly what she expected. Especially when she is tracked down by none other than Hayden Stokes.

Hayden only has one goal in mind. Keep on track to find the cure that is once again lost amongst the wreckage of the apocalypse. Unfortunately, another part of that goal is keeping the civilian at his side safe and unharmed. And she does not make it easy.

Through underground clubs, grotesque undeads, and a heat that won't seem to dwindle, they hike their way towards supposed salvation.

Will Meaghan see her love Jesse again? Will Hayden give in to the spark he feels? What will become of Jesse and the cure for humanity?

Will Hayden and Meaghan make it through this untouched, or will they become entangled in themselves and the undeads?
