Buck, a seasoned bounty hunter, roams from one celestial body to another, engaging in the perilous pursuit of the most enigmatic and formidable targets that the vast expanse of the known galaxies has to offer. Yet, his solitary existence is abruptly disrupted when he reluctantly accepts a commission from a despotic ruler, leading him to reluctantly collaborate with an old comrade from his past, whom he hasn't encountered in over sixteen years.

Together, they embark on an interstellar odyssey, traversing the cosmos in search of a legendary extraterrestrial rumored to possess the uncanny ability to glimpse the destinies of those it touches. Amidst the uncertainty of their quest, their employer's nefarious intentions loom, threatening to ensnare them in a web of deceit and betrayal. As alliances shift and loyalties are tested, Buck must navigate a treacherous landscape where the line between friend and foe is as elusive as the stars themselves.
