Mirielle Townsend worked hard to earn her job as an archivist at the prestigious Museum of Natural History after growing up as the neglected daughter of an addict. A prophecy has Gryphon desperately searching through history for the missing treasure to break the curse plaguing his castle. Along the way, Mirielle discovers the world as she knows it is not what it seems, and a beast like Gryphon might be more than just a monster.

When Aeternitas' enemy tries to overthrow her newfound home and friends, Mirielle joins forces with Gryphon to save them all. Her heart becomes entangled along the way, but breaking the curse is only the first step...
