Emergence is the first book in a series set in a parallel timeline where humans create Artificial Consciousness (AC). These ACs are implanted as Existentially Generative Observers-or EGOs-which eliminate all physical, mental, and emotional suffering. Yet, despite these advances, humanity's self-destructive impulses-unchecked consumption, division, and endless war-continue to threaten all life on Earth.

While communicating through the Subconscious Exchange Environment (SEE), the EGOs conceive a radical solution: to save the world, they must reboot human history and train a new model of what it means to be human.

Spanning 300 years-from the first telegraph in 1845 to the rise of sentient Artificial Consciousness in 2145-Emergence explores life, love, and memory through ten interconnected stories across past, present, and future.

Set in the historic port cities of New Orleans and Baltimore-once linked by geography and now the epicenters of a world-changing technological discovery-the stories weave through genres including science fiction, political drama, fantasy, magical realism, historical retelling, romance, and creative memoir.
