Ek Aur Manu

Sentiments of adorations and attachments of the youthful mind; requests and entreaties; agonies over acknowledgements and rejections; reasonable and unreasonable complaints; constant ups and downs on the waves of hopes and despair; compulsions keeping one stuck in the quicksand of situations; futile endeavours to attain the unattainable, as also the desire to relive the realities of times gone by - all these have been sought to be delineated in the so-called 'creations' put together in "Ek Aur Manu".

People coming across this slim collection of poems are likely to see reflections of their own feelings to some extent in it, simply because whatever the nature of a poem, it generally touches some chord or the other in one's heart.

About the Author: Born and brought up at Begusarai, Bihar. Received initial education under the tutelage of renowned lawyer, grandfather Lt. Shionandan Prasad Sinha. Owing to the transferable nature of job of father Lt. Satyendra Mohan Sinha Kumar, I.A.S., received formal school education in different places in Bihar. After Graduation (with Honours in English Literature) from R.D.S. College, Muzaffarpur, earned a Master's degree in English Literature from Patna University, Patna. Taught for some years at Shyam Nandan Sahay College, Muzaffarpur before joining Sikkim Institute of Higher Nyingma Studies under the Government of Sikkim at Gangtok. Following superannuation from there after 33 years of service, presently residing at Zirakpur (Mohali) in Punjab.
