Drive Well

This book is to help people deal with reality. We have many ways to manage what life puts us through. Some work better than others. In my previous books, I provided ways to reduce traffic jams by following Natural Laws, math, Physics, & common sense. People have not easily accepted the premise that DRIVE WELL REDUCE TRAFFIC JAMS & DRIVE WELL: CONTROL OUR ROADS offer. Obeying Natural Laws helps us solve most of our problems.

My best example is Motion. When you ask people to keep open space in front of them while they are driving, their first reaction is to refuse to do it. We are trained that this is a bad idea. We have many rules that we will not break. Some driving rules that we have made up are: Don't let others in front of you, don't keep open space to allow other drivers in front of you, drive to eliminate any open space, use zipper merge when merging, but merge without open space, when you stop, stop with no space, wait for the vehicle ahead of you to move, get to the red light first, get to the stopped traffic & stop without space, go fast until you have to stop and wait, & more. The results of our rules lead to traffic jams.

People will follow their rules without question. The results of these actions are to go fast, cut other drivers off, hit the brakes hard, get in front of other drivers to stop & block the road, stop and wait longer, and be annoyed at the drivers ahead, the traffic light, the government, the DMV, and any things else that they can see, feel, or believe is blocking them. This book is to give drivers a solution to the problem that drivers say they do not like, traffic jams.

The main problem with traffic jams is not finding the solution. It is getting people to believe the solution works. Everyone has an understanding how things work. Some people have made up rules that break Natural Laws. When you ask people to follow Natural Laws, they refused, because it contradicts the way they think things work. Motion is space and speed. When we are in a hurry, we believe motion is speed. This is the base cause of all our traffic jams, which is why I wrote DRIVE WELL REDUCE TRAFFIC JAMS.

When you want a solution to your problem, you have to know whether your problem is a problem or a symptom. You have to know the base of the problem to fix your problem. When things don't work the way, you think they should. How do you manage that? We have a natural sign that tells us when there is a problem. We get mad. The question is "Are we going to solve the problem or keep doing what caused the symptom and keep expecting a different result?". This book is to help identify the simplest way to find, diagnose, & solve the problems we face. If you are able to correctly eliminate your problems, you should never have to deal with that problem again. It becomes a situation.
