If you can remember Job and all that he suffered only to come out on top and double his portion, remember that He can and will do the same for you. When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before! I was reminded of this story and God's faithfulness to us when on Christmas Night 2023 my beloved mother in love called 10 family members to remain in the room after we had finished receiving and giving Christmas gifts. She explained that while she does not plan on going anywhere anytime soon, the patriarch/matriarch is to extend a blessing to their child before they pass. That evening, she reached and in the order of age handed an envelope to each one of us in the room. Each envelope had a Scripture written on it and assumingly a monetary note. As of this writing, I still have not opened the envelope. For me, it was the spirit in which it was given. I knew there was a blessing behind it. I felt the blessing that evening. No matter what was in the envelope, I felt richer already as if God set many a plan in motion and from here on out, I would just need to trust Him completely and follow His directive.
