DON'T OPEN

Dr. Yahya Murad is called to an archaeological excavation near Luxor to examine a dying worker.

The man's body is unnaturally cold. Strange material moves beneath his skin. And before he dies, he gives Yahya one warning:

Don't go inside.

But Yahya does.

Inside the tomb, the entrance disappears. Voices begin imitating the dead. A missing man returns without a shadow. And a black stone removed from an ancient seal seems to follow the living wherever there is blood.

Then the phenomenon reaches a hospital.

When Yahya, archaeologist Nora Naguib, and police captain Farid Hassan return to the excavation site, they discover that the first barrier was never the end.

There is a second door.

And something behind it is trying to get through.

Yahya is a doctor. He trusts facts, measurements, and explanations.

But some things refuse to be explained.

DON'T OPEN is Book One of DR MURAD FILES, a supernatural archaeological horror thriller about an ancient tomb, a vanished excavation team, and an entity that can wear familiar voices.

Some doors are warnings.

This one is a boundary.
