Ditch

The year is 2034, Angel City is a place of total social control, after its second civil war, with a genetically engineered society that leaves only the forgotten "Tunnel Children" clinging to their humanity. Ditch is a ten-year-old streetwise rebel who leads a small band of brave children on a quest for survival in a heartless society. They become a thorn in the side of those in power, as the authorities see them as nothing more than a "plague" to be eradicated. In an attempt to rid the city of these "Tunnel Children," the authorities resort to genocide.

With the help of a blind man, the children's pack gains a protector and spiritual guide. In addition an unlikely couple, Jevon and Lisa, help as caretakers of these resilient youngsters. These two individuals are torn between their loyalty to the new social order and their deep-seated benevolent instincts, and their decision will determine the fate of the "Tunnel Children" and themselves.
