The lead character in Dislocation is convinced of one thing - he is not Tom Barlow. But who is he? All he can remember is what Barlow remembers. His memory, his home, his work - they all belong to Barlow, but that's not who he is. How is he to cope with Barlow's job as a teacher of mathematics? How is he to cope with the impending break-up of his relationship with his girlfriend?
Meanwhile on the other side of town another character begins to realise that he knows about things he would not normally have known about. What is going on?
Dislocation is a psychological flight of fancy. The situation is impossible; it couldn't happen. But if it did happen, what would it be like? How would it feel?
