Discover The Land Of Israel

Yossi Maimon, the author of Discover The Land Of Israel, has been an active tour guide in Israel, licensed by the Israel Tourism Ministry, for more than 30 years. As a specialist in Judaic and Middle East Studies, he believes that visitors to Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel, will come away with a love and better appreciation for the Holy Land when they understand, not only what is happening in the Land today, but the events that happened on the very same ground throughout Biblical history.

In this expanded edition, which includes color photographs and links with Google Maps, Yossi skillfully weaves the stories behind the Biblical stories found in Tanach, Talmud, and Midrash to create a fascinating modern-day tour. You will get the feel of what it was like to live with the Patriarchs, Judges, Prophets, and Kings.

Scan the QR codes embedded in the stories. Easily pinpoint on the map where these events took place as you travel from the Golan Heights in the north of Israel to the Negev in the south, learning about the Land that was promised by God to be a Land for the Jewish people.
