Devoted to Murder

"I love murder," 62-year-old Annabel Wordsworth often says. She refers, of course, to fictional murder, the kind she finds in the mystery novels she's forever reading. The thought of actual harm to anyone repels her loving heart; yet for years, she has dreamed of helping to solve a real homicide. However, when it involves the death of a dear friend, her opinion quickly changes. Instead of the thrill she expects to find, she finds it heartbreakingly tragic.

In a peaceful Nebraska town in 1995, the last thing anyone expects is for someone to shoot their beloved Doctor Grant Markessen.
