The Devil's Potion is a book compiled of stories based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES of people caught up in the chains and the brutal results of the Devil's Potion (alcohol and drugs).
There are numerous theories of what should be done in treating drug or alcohol addictions. But...it goes much deeper than exploring the possibility of help for the addict, as families and friends are suffering alongside the addict to the highest degree of emotional and financial agony. The Devil's Potion author, Dottie Jean, is no stranger to this pain, and she spares no words in sharing stories of people known to her who suffer from this disease.

The author has written poetry most of her life and has been frequently published. She has authored several poems referring to self-help and encouragement, some of which are included in this book.
