The bankruptcy of a number of financial institutions in the city of Goma last year has had an impact on the behaviour of some savers, which is why we have conducted this research into the financial sector, focusing on the new motives determining the choice of a financial institution by households in the city of Goma. To achieve this, we asked ourselves what criteria determine the choice of a financial institution or a cooperative by households in the city of Goma.
