Friedrich Kwame Brandt-Asante believed he understood systems.

A German philosopher with a controlled research design, he enters the American justice system under an assumed identity-determined to document, analyze, and expose it from the inside.

He never makes it to the experiment.

Stranded in Atlanta during a routine layover, one uncontrolled encounter turns into an accusation. Within hours, Friedrich is no longer an observer. He is Marcus Jerome Webb, a name entered into a system that does not ask who you are, only how to process you.

As the walls close in, the structure he trusted begins to reveal itself: not as theory, but as force. Procedure replaces identity. Time becomes something measured for him, not by him. And somewhere beyond the reach of his control, someone has already decided how far this will go.
