Felix is the only one left to call. He is tempted to refuse, but Priscilla, Felix's familiar, feels strongly about taking this job.

Matters become more complicated when Felix realizes this child has Fae benefactors, putting Felix in an uncomfortable situation that involves his enemies. Despite his attempts to refuse, Felix is forced into a bargain to investigate the boy's disappearance.

Felix must uncover who has stolen this boy and why. The answer is one he has never encountered before. Felix's morals are put to the test as he battles his personal biases against the Fae and what is right for this child.
