For Ember, these things never crossed her mind. She had accepted her simple existence; her people had long been conquered by the Destraadians, and the village where she was raised was forced to forge weapons for their Soveterra. This was all she'd ever known, and wondering what lay beyond her village walls or about some magic crystals was pointless. But when a mysterious power awakens within her, Ember is suddenly thrust into the middle of a conflict that ties her to the soul shards, and casts her as enemy number one to the Soveterra of the Destraadians.

Join Ember as she escapes her village in search of answers only to find a path full of deadly foes, a prophecy of a liberator, and a plan that threatens all of life itself, to which she will realize: this newly awakened power may be the only thing that can save the world from falling into oblivion.
