Wild, heart-shaped and brushed with pink, the cyclamen flower grows quietly among Lebanon's rugged hillsides-perennial and tenacious. For Chadia, it becomes the living metaphor of her journey: upheaval and rebirth, resilience and unforeseen beauty.

Raised in privilege, Chadia's childhood radiated joy until betrayal stripped her father of their estate. Then civil war shattered her homeland. At sixteen, she confronted brutality-her mother torn by shrapnel, her sister wounded by a sniper. Forced into the militia, and military training, she chose compassion instead, saving others from death and rescuing a child from abuse.

Seeking safety, she moved to the United States, only to endure a loveless marriage. Like the cyclamen, she endured, waiting for spring. Australia became that spring. Amid open skies and golden shores, love bloomed in the most unexpected place-the Holiday Inn, a hotel chain woven through her life's crossroads.

Today, Chadia reflects with warmth and sincerity as a mother and storyteller. Her daughter continues this legacy.
