Mindy McIntosh wasn't born to a world of financial comfort. Raised on a cash-crop farm in Michigan, she watched her father work tirelessly while her mother held down two non-farm jobs. Mindy managed the family household yet still took her first regular job at age twelve.

But all that intense labor wasn't enough. As bills piled up, her parents were eventually forced to sell the farm and family home. The devastation the teenage girl saw on her father's face lives with her even today.

Determined to do whatever she could to help other people avoid the financial difficulty she witnessed, Mindy began a career in the financial services industry. In time, she founded her own company, McIntosh and Associates of Freeland, Michigan. Today, she and her husband Nolan direct a team dedicated to helping people navigate the maze of their financial lives with special emphasis on retirement preparation.
