This story also speaks to Jesus being willing to provide the very best for those at the party, indicating how much God will bless Christians as well. There is the story of the woman at the well who had a secret. Jesus uses this opportunity to reveal his secret as well. He was the Messiah ushering in a new way of worshiping God. She was broken in the sight of her community but Jesus gave her a new life. Jesus didn't ask to heal a blind man one day. Instead, he walked up to him placed mud on his eyes, and told him to take a bath. There is so much to learn from this simple story. The last story in the book again reveals why Jesus wasn't honored in his hometown of Nazareth. Jesus was willing to heal the man's son without having to travel days to reach him.
